TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to Aris Archer. We stock what we sell: if it's on our site it's on our shelf. Although we can NEVER guarantee an exact ship date for wholesale orders we try our best to send your order out within about 3 days.

Good news for selling our boots:

  • You can easily make them "your" boots. We do not brand our boxes, nor do we have our name attached to our boots.
  • They are quite sturdy but have no lining so you can easily embellish them if you wish to make them look like no other boots on the market.
  • The buttons are removable, the laces are replaceable, and the insoles - while quite comfy - are thin enough to allow your customers to add extra insoles or orthotics. 
  • Our reversible belts, while not made of leather, match the color of our boots beautifully.
  • You are welcome to use our product photos - but we ask that you do not use any of our photos that have humans in them unless you obtain permission from us first.

TRANSIT TIME

  • Order early! We almost always ship wholesale orders within 2-3 business days. However, please remember: we have a small warehouse staff and, because there may be a large order in front of yours, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do that every single time. Please keep this in mind for your customers who have deadlines.

THE FIT
They're quite roomy. So much so that our EEE tester was able to wear his actual size instead of buying boots that were too long just to get added width. But don't fear that they're too roomy; we have yet to hear any complaints from average width customers. They seem to fit true to size. We barely have 5% returns on these.

VERY IMPORTANT
Aris Archer is our brand name. Do not represent yourselves as our company or use our name to purchase a URL. 

SORRY - CREDIT CARD OR PAYPAL PAYMENT ONLY - NO CREDIT, TERMS OR COD.
Payment must clear before shipment. We only accept payment in U.S. dollars.

CREDIT CARD DECLINES
If your credit card cannot be run for the amount of your order you will be notified by email. Please contact us with a different card number.

SAMPLES
Sorry, we do not send free or discounted samples. 

NO RETURNS
We do not accept returns of wholesale merchandise.
Exchange of defective merchandise must be made within 30 days of receipt. In case of factory defects: returns will not be accepted without a prior written authorization and will only be exchanged. A call tag will be sent if factory defect return is authorized. All unauthorized returns will be marked "return to sender" and shipped back to you.
THE ONLY EXCEPTION: Your first order...
Because we do not have a salesperson who will bring styles into your location for you to inspect we will be happy to accept the return of anything from your first order. So order big! You'll be able to inspect and try to sell - then return - anything in like-new condition within 60 days of receipt of your first order. PLEASE make sure any boots returned to us are beautifully packed - just like you got them (straighten the laces, put stuffing back, flatten the tissue paper and wrap the boots, send them in the correct boxes, etc.).

ERRORS
We are happy to correct any errors - but please order early. We will not expedite your order due to errors (whether ours or yours) because you need the items by a certain date. Claims for discrepancies on invoices must be made within 5 days or receipt of merchandise.

PROBLEMS/DEFECTS
We stand behind our products. If you find a defect (even if you find the problem after your customer has worn the item for up to 30 days) we will be happy to issue you a credit for that item. If it is a recurring complaint and you have continued to order that style we will not issue you a credit.

BACKORDERS
We do not accept backorders. 
Orders for merchandise that is not in stock will be automatically canceled unless emailed otherwise.

EXCLUSIVES
Sorry, we do not grant exclusive territories. The only "territory" we enforce is that if you are based outside the U.S. we do not permit you to sell into the U.S. Only U.S. businesses are permitted to sell our products within the U.S.

WHOLESALE DISTRIBUTION
We are the sole distributor of our products. If you resell our products to other retailers and/or represent yourselves as wholesale distributors of our goods we will cease to do business with you.

Prices, terms & conditions are subject to change without prior notice.

AFFILIATE SITES
As a manufacturer/wholesaler/distributor we must also vend our products online. If you have a brick-and-mortar location and purchase wholesale goods from us we do not mind if you also sell them online on your own site. However, we reserve the right to be the sole vendor of our products on these (and other) sites:
- Amazon.com
- eBay.com
- Zappos.com
In other words: you may sell our products online, but only as yourself, not on others' sites. 
THE ONLY EXCEPTION: International...
If you:
- do not have a business address in the U.S.
- do not sell or ship into the U.S.
- do not advertise in the U.S. 
- do not undercut our MSRP (by offering a substantially lower price or by offering a slightly lower price and free shipping)
- do not represent yourself in any way as being, or being from, our company (including the words "Aris Archer" in your business name is not permitted) 
then we are OK with you selling on these sites in your own country. This condition, of course, may change without notice at any time.

SHIPPING & HANDLING

We send all wholesale shipments via USPS (and/or UPS in the U.S.)
We never ship wholesale goods expedited or C.O.D.

DROPSHIPPING
We do not currently dropship for our customers but if you are willing to pay the costs associated with individual orders (just the $5 fee we pay to handle individual shipments, the per-transaction cost of processing your credit card, the cost of shipping, etc.) and can meet modest seasonal minimums, we will be glad to discuss dropshipping with you.

NO EXPEDITED SHIPMENTS
NO GUARANTEE ON EXACT SHIP DATE
We cannot rush wholesale orders. We normally take 2-4 days to prepare wholesale orders for shipment. If we are waiting for payment from you or you order during holiday season it may take longer. If you need a rush order or a specific receipt date please order from another company.

DURING TRANSIT, MERCHANDISE CANNOT BE DIVERTED TO A DIFFERENT ADDRESS
If your shipment cannot be delivered to the address you provided and your shipment is returned to us you will be charged for shipping both ways and if you do not wish us to reship we will treat it as a cancelled order (see below).
If you wish us to reship to a different address we will also charge you shipping for the 2nd time we send it to you.

CANCELLED ORDERS - FEES
We understand that some of our customers do not order early enough in advance, or their payment does not go through immediately, or we take longer than they anticipated to prepare their order, and they must occasionally cancel an order they have placed.

Orders that are cancelled before we pick and pack them will be charged:
- any fees (bank or credit card costs) we have incurred

Orders that are cancelled after picking and weighing but before shipment will be charged:
- a 15% restocking fee 
- any fees (bank or credit card costs) we have incurred

Orders that are cancelled during shipment or are refused upon receipt will be charged:
- a 15% restocking fee 
- any fees (bank or credit card costs) we have incurred 
- any and all costs related to the cost of shipping cartons, insurance and shipping one or both ways to and/or from your location

If you cancel shipments often we will not continue to accept your orders.

U.S. SHIPPING

You pay actual shipping costs. Your order will usually be shipped within 3-5 days of payment receipt. All orders are shipped insured.
Usual shipping methods:
- Continental US locations: USPS or UPS Ground depending on which method is cheaper. Please tell us if you do not have a commercial address because your shipping will be higher if we ship UPS to a residental address.
- Alaska & Hawaii: USPS

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

IF YOU WISH TO ESTIMATE SHIPPING COSTS TO YOUR COUNTRY:
You pay actual shipping costs + $5 handling fee for document prep. Your order will usually be shipped within 3-5 days after you order but we can never guarantee an exact shipping or arrival date. All orders are shipped insured.

Usual shipping method: USPS International. You can calculate approximate shipping cost by running the rate on USPS.com. Shoes weigh approx. 1.5 - 2.5 lbs. each, clothes usually weigh around .5 - 1 lbs. apiece. If you do not want to pay USPS rates please arrange for your freight to be picked up at our location after we have packed it. We will not refund the cost of shipping or customs & duty if you think the cost is too high.

IMPORTANT: KNOW YOUR COUNTRY'S IMPORT LAWS & QUOTAS! 

If we send you a shipment and it is refused by your country's customs or postal authorities (etc.), you must pay the freight both ways when it comes back to us. We will not pay penalties or the cost of return shipping if you ask us to ship something that is not legal to ship to your location or have given us an address that USPS is unable to find or deliver to. If your shipment is refused we will want a new address before we ship again.
