Obvious Stuff

Don’t cut anything off

Don’t “crop” in the camera. Try to give the artist a little extra space around the subject.

• Not too close
• Not too far
• Not too high
• Not too low
• Not too dark
• Not too bright

Take a GOOD look at what you’re shooting. I have actually spent HOURS shooting only to find out that everything was out of focus. D’oh! If only I’d stopped for one minute to zoom in...
