Seated Poses and Props

Watch out for distortion -

Phones are made for taking photos of people AND mountain ranges. So they distort portraits. Notice that my boots look twice the size of my head unless I pull them closer to me. This can be fixed in photoshop - but it’s better if you get the models to pull their feet in.
Same thing with couples: whoever is in front looks huge. Put the woman a little behind the guy. Overall the general population looks like that anyway.

PROPS -

Props are GREAT! They help people joke around and look like they’re having fun, or sexy, or brave, etc.
Be careful not to let the prop overshadow them or cause the photo to be way off-center by trying to get them to keep the prop close in.
